In Years 9 and 10, students study the core subjects of English, Mathematics, Science and Religious Education, History and Health and Physical Education. This is also the start of taking levels of study that link in with subjects in the Senior Years.
Students are able to choose their subjects, including two elective subjects each semester in Year 9.
In Year 10, electives are full-year subjects, giving our students greater depth of experience that then connect with Senior Pathway options.
The Senior Education and Training (SET) Plan process commences in Year 10 with students undertaking a rigorous Careers unit in which they investigate future educational and career opportunities. Students are introduced to the Senior curriculum (Year 11 and 12) and are required to attend a SET Plan interview with an experienced teacher to make an informed choice about the educational future.
