Instrument Music Program
The Co-Curricular Music Program at Clairvaux MacKillop College is a dynamic and ever-growing department dedicated to ensuring students have every opportunity to develop and achieve in their creative arts goals. Students who are interested in pursuing instrumental tuition can complete the form below:
First Day of School 2026
Wednesday 28 January 2026 - Year 7s (day concludes 2.54pm) and new students in Years 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 (day concludes 1.oopm). Student Leaders attend to assist the Year 7 students. Formal uniform required.
Thursday 29 January 2026 - All students return. This is is school photo day (except for Year 12, their photo day will be advised closer to the date). Formal uniform required.
Friday 30 January 2026 - Normal Classes commence. Formal uniform required.
Laptops
Parents/caregivers and students will be asked to sign a laptop agreement, prior to your student receiving their laptop. A parent slip will be forwarded to parents in the week commencing 12 January 2026 with a link to it. The parent slip will be due by Tuesday 20 January 2026. All students who’s family have returned the parent slip will be given their laptop on Day 1.
Uniform Online Bookings
You will receive an email in Term 4, 2025 just after your Orientation Day, with further booking details.
Uniform booking are scheduled for 15 minutes.

Monday: 7.45am -2.00pm
Wednesday: 7.45am - 4.00pm
Friday: 7.45am-12.15pm
IT HELP
| CMC Connect | IT Helpdesk is in M Block. Open from 8.00am – 4.00pm Monday – Friday. Students can visit during break times in term time.

| Key means of communication between school and home | Download the BCE Connect App via the App Store or Google Play. Make Clairvaux MacKillop College your favourite school and check regularly for updates. Access is limited to Legal Guardians.

PARENT PORTAL

Access is via the BCE Connect App and College website. Access is limited to Legal Guardians. If you are new to the College, access is available when Term 1 begins, and instructions will be provided to parents on the first day via email.

SAFETY AND PARKING
| Pick up/Drop off zone | Limited Parking is available on the College grounds. Please use Park n Ride on Klumpp Road. Observe all signage in the pick-up/drop off zone. Please note: No right hand turn on exit from the College between the hours of 7am – 9am and 2pm – 4pm.

TRANSPORT | Clarks | Existing Bus Pass Students with an existing bus pass need to reapply if: - Their home address has changed
- They are repeating a grade
- Transferring to a different school in 2024 (this includes transitioning from Primary to High School)
Automatic renewal of bus passes is a result of data matching process and relies on the accuracy of information held by:
- Department of Transport and Main Roads
- Centrelink
- Clarks Logan City Bus Service and
- The school the child attends
What do Parents need to do when they receive a continuation letter from Department of Transport & Main Roads Continuation letters will be forwarded to Parent/Guardian from DTMR. Please keep these letters. Please ensure that your child's details are identical and current with each of the above-named entities.
