All students attend school in Formal College Uniform. Normal timetabled classes commence and Assembly

 

YEAR 7, 2023

8.15am – 8.45am – Coffee and Tea for parents

8.45am – Official Year 7 Induction begins for students

9.00am – Parents depart

2.54pm – Day concludes; pick up from pick-up zone

 

NEW YEAR 8 – 12 STUDENTS, 2023Tuesday 24th January

Orientation morning from 10.30am to 1.00pm. Please meet in Clairvaux Court by 10.15am

Students are required to wear their full formal College uniform, including their College hat.

On arrival, you will be greeted by the Pastoral Leaders and Student Leaders.

Students will be given the Diary and Lock at this time.

Please inform the College office staff if your child cannot attend this information session.

Wednesday 25th January

ID, individual and Homeroom photos will be taken.

Students are to wear their formal College uniform and are to present themselves as per the College's Uniform Policy.

Students are to wear their formal College uniform and are to present themselves as per the College's Uniform Policy.

 

LAPTOPS Year 7 and New Students in Year 8 - 12

Parents and students will be asked to sign a laptop agreement, prior to starting school.  This will be emailed to parents in mid- January 2023.

All students who have a signed agreement will be given a laptop on Day 1 of school in 2023.

LAPTOPS Year 10New devices will be distributed during homeroom on Day 1 2023.

Please bring to school on the first day, fully charged.

You will be allocated a 15-minute appointment.

If you know the sizing you require, orders can be placed online via 'my monitor' on the parent portal. If ordered during the holiday period, collection of items can be made from student reception between 8am and 3pm from Wednesday 11th January 2023.  Please allow 48 hours after ordering to collect.

TRANSPORTClarks

Existing Bus Pass

Students with an existing bus pass need to reapply if:

  1. Their home address has changed
  2. They are repeating a grade
  3. Transferring to a different school in 2023 (this includes transitioning from Primary to High School)

 

Automatic renewal of bus passes is a result of data matching process and relies on the accuracy of information held by:

  1. Department of Transport and Main Roads
  2. Centrelink
  3. Clarks Logan City Bus Service and
  4. The school the child attends

What do Parents need to do when they receive a continuation letter from Department of Transport & Main Roads

Continuation letters will be forwarded to Parent/Guardian from DTMR.  Please keep these letters.

Once received, letters can be brought into Clarks Logan City Bus Service Depot, 42 Jutland St, Loganlea for processing after the 17th January 2023, during office hours Monday-Friday 10am – 2pm.   (Original letters and 2022 pass must be submitted).

Please ensure that your child's details are identical and current with each of the above-named entities.
