Year 7 and 8 Curriculum Overview

Year 7 and 8 students come to Clairvaux MacKillop College from a variety of primary schools. The students are introduced to some new subjects that they have not experienced previously.

All students are required to study core subjects in both Year 7 and 8. This includes: English, Health and Physical Education, Humanities, Japanese, Mathematics, Religious Education and Science for the duration of each school year. Students study Semester Long subjects from the Australian Curriculum in the areas of The Arts and Technologies. This provides them with the opportunity to study a range of subjects that they may wish to pursue in the future. resize science.jpg
