Founders' Day Events

CMC is renowned for our modern-day liturgies which connect traditions with the young people of today.

Our 2025 CMC Founders' day liturgy themed "Be transformed" was presided over by Fr Rony, whose homily stirred hearts and minds. He reminded us:

“Be kind when it’s inconvenient.
Stand up when it’s unpopular.
Pray when you feel uncertain.
And above all, trust that God is working in you—even now—to transform your life.
Because you, too, are called to be a founder.
A builder of hope.
A light in someone’s darkness.”
Our 2024 CMC liturgy theme was "Shine like stars in the night sky" took inspiration from a verse from Philippians 2.

Our 2023 CMC liturgy themed “Ignite the fire within” inspired students to be involved in practical, hands-on ways of providing service.
Founders' Day is represented through the lighting of the CMC candle, a centre-piece art installation.

Students partake in a vairety of activites and sports to build teamwork and curiosity, they can relax on giant bean bags or dance along with our talented music ensembles and rock bands. Our admirable St Vincent de Paul volunteer students and staff provide lunch, and CMC baked sweets!
