The College is committed to fostering equity and excellence in education while developing confident, creative, and visionary young people who are ready to embrace our changing world.
The Space Program at Clairvaux MacKillop College is an innovation, offering students real-world, hands-on experience in the aerospace industry. Through a partnership with Griffith University and Gilmour Space Technologies, students collaborated with industry professionals to design, build, and launch a satellite into Lower Earth Orbit (LEO).
This program went beyond traditional classroom learning by integrating STEM theory with practical applications, allowing students to see how their studies translate into real-world outcomes. The initiatives fostered critical thinking, teamwork, and innovation, all essential skills for future careers in science and technology.
By integrating academic rigor with creative exploration and partnerships with Universities and Corporations, Clairvaux MacKillop College is well-positioned to shape the future of education, inspiring students to lead, innovate, and excel.
Winners will be announced at the Australian Education Awards Gala Dinner in August 2025.
