Parents and Friends Association (P&F)

The Parents and Friends (P & F) Association is comprised of representatives from the College Senior Leadership Team, Parents, Teaching Staff, and Community.
The mission of the Parents and Friends Association is:
To provide assistance and support to the College and the wider Clairvaux MacKillop College community, by working together to enhance and enrich the transition of our sons and daughters into confident and caring young men and women.
"Never see a need without doing something about it" Saint Mary MacKillop
Enrolment at Clairvaux MacKillop College means that not only does your child become an important member of the College Community; you do too.
Clairvaux MacKillop College recognises that family involvement in schools is central to high quality education and is part of the core business of schools (Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations Family-School Partnerships Framework). The P & F is the main parent body within the College and offers parents an avenue to participate in their child’s education by strengthening the link between the College, families and the wider community.
The P & F is a welcoming and inclusive group, which supports the College’s goal of providing all students a comprehensive, quality education at a supportive educational facility.  The P & F’s main source of revenue is an annual levy included in school fees. Any proposal for expenditure is determined in consultation with the Principal and these proposals will be targeted for projects/resources to be enjoyed by Clairvaux MacKillop College students.
Some of the facilities the P & F has contributed to include, but are not limited to:
  • College Hall
  • Auditorium
  • Science Block
  • ERC Centre
  • Year 7 Formation Centre
  • Resource Centre (Library).
The P & F provides a valuable forum for parents to discuss the issues impacting on their sons' or daughters' education and endeavours to promote a sense of community, College spirit and pride.

  • Francine Wicks                    President
